Senior Games and SilverArts
Important COVID-19 Senior Games & SilverArts Update:
Dear Senior Games and SilverArts Participants,
The Chatham County Council on Aging continues to deal with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and are monitoring the situation closely. We want to ensure the safety and health of our participants. Therefore, the 2020 Senior Games and SilverArts competition will be postponed until further notice.
We are working to reschedule all athletic and art events for a later date when restrictions have been lifted. We will keep our participants, volunteers, venues and sponsors informed as more information about event dates, times and locations becomes available. We will also keep you informed as we learn more from the North Carolina Senior Games about State Finals, traditionally held in the fall.
We hope to have more information to share with you in mid-April. Please continue to check the Chatham County Senior Games website at https://chathamcouncilonaging.org/activities/senior-games/ for updates. Once the new event calendar has been finalized, we will send an event confirmation email and letter, by mail, to all registered participants.
Thank you for your understanding and patience!
The Senior Games wellness and prevention program seeks to keep the body, mind and spirit fit while also fostering enjoyment with friends, family, spectators and volunteers. Seniors age 50 or better are eligible to participate. Call Liz Lahti, Chatham Senior Games, Local Coordinator, 919-542-4512 ext. 228 or email@example.com.
