Chatham County Aging Services, in association with Walgreens, will hold an Immunization Clinic on Tuesday, October 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Eastern Chatham Senior Center. Country Line Dancing
The Western Chatham Senior Center is home to free country line dancing classes every Thursday night from 5:30-7 p.m.
An Arthritis Foundation-certified, doctor-recommended program, Walk With Ease is an exercise program that can reduce pain and improve overall health. All it takes is 10 minutes standing without increased pain to have success in the Walk With Ease program. The class will be held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:15 a.m. beginning Tuesday, September 26 and will run through November 2 at the Western Chatham Senior Center in Siler City. Diabetes Self-Management Education Program
The Chatham County Public Health Department will hold a Diabetes Self-Management Education Program for a five-week period from October 9-November 6. Sessions will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Eastern Chatham Senior Center in Pittsboro. These sessions can help you eat healthy, stay active, manage your blood sugar, manage stress and prevent complications.
